I started keeping track of the fish, lures, temperatures and time of day that I was catching fish. Just for fun to look back on in the following year. We got to joking around and called it the Captain's Log. Which has now progressed into a story of our day on the lake, I tell the story good or bad, what we are using and how we are using it. I try to give helpful information ie: lake levels, snow at the ramp, ice on the lake, water temps and state laws. We go to several different lakes and fish every weekend.
